Is the Fantasmic! Dining Package at Disneyland Worth It?

If you’re planning a Disneyland vacation and wondering whether the Fantasmic! dining packages are worth it, you’re not alone! As a lifelong Disneyland Passholder and a travel advisor helping families create magical memories, I recently tested one of these packages with my family—and I’ve got thoughts! Here’s what you need to know before booking.

What’s Included in the Fantasmic! Dining Package?

There are currently three standard dining packages and one premium package available for Fantasmic:

Standard Packages:

  • River Belle Terrace

  • Rancho del Zocalo Restaurante

  • Café Orleans

Each includes a 3-course meal (you order from a special menu when you arrive) and a voucher for a reserved viewing area during Fantasmic!

Premium Package:

At River Belle Terrace, you can enjoy your dinner and watch Fantasmic! right from your table on the outdoor terrace—no need to move!

You can view the current offerings, prices, and menus as well as make reservations here! Part of my travel planning services for clients include making recommendations like this and even taking care of the reservations, so you don’t have to worry about getting up early to book!

Sweet and Spicy Shrimp Tacos from Rancho del Zocale served with Radish Slaw, Rice, Corn Esquite, Refried Beans, Cortadillo and a fountain beverage choice.

What We Chose: Rancho del Zocalo

We went with the Rancho del Zocalo package, which is the most affordable option at:

  • $35 per adult

  • $25 per child (ages 3–9)

(Note: Tax and gratuity not included.)

Since we wanted the earlier Fantasmic! show, we chose a lunch reservation—and it worked out perfectly. The food was surprisingly good with a nice variety, and the reserved area had excellent views. Everyone stayed seated, which made it so much more relaxing, especially for kids. Bring a blanket and get comfy while you wait for the show!

Is It Worth It?

YES, especially if you’re a first-timer or don’t want to deal with the stress of claiming a good spot.

While the higher-priced options may be harder to justify for repeat visitors, I think the $35/$25 package offers great value.

Pro Tip: Mobile order some warm chocolate chip cookies and hot cocoa from Harbor Galley before the show. It’s the perfect cozy treat to enjoy while you wait!

Final Thoughts

The Fantasmic! dining package at Disneyland can be a fantastic way to guarantee a good seat, enjoy a meal, and make your evening feel extra special—especially for families.
